Story of Reiki
The laying of hands as a method of healing dates back farther than can be tracked. This ability intrigued a man named Mikao Usui. He was a professor at a university in Kyoto, Japan. He posed the question to his students, How did Jesus heal with his hands. This lead him on a 10 year quest ending on a mountain back in Japan. On the last day of a 28 day meditation a ball of light struck his third eye and he knew how to heal. He did not discover hands-on healing, but rediscovered it and called it Reiki
Reiki Sessions
Each Reiki session is custom tailored to the client. I am a master of Usui Reiki, Seichim (Living Light Energy), and have studied Hawaiian rainbow healing. After a brief discussion of medical history, current problems or distresses, and expectations of session, I use my hands and some times stone or crystals to allow the “great store of energy” universal energy to flow through me. I direct this energy to places in your body and mind where it combines with your own energy and desire to be healed. After the session is over, you will be offered water and space to meditate or reflect if needed
